Overview |
Tsukiji Hongwan-ji temple is close to Tsukiji fish market and Ginza. It is a branch temple of the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha denomination, the Mother Temple is located in Kyoto; Nishi Hongwanji. This temple was once lost in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, the present temple was re-built to have an Indian architectural motif in 1934.
