Overview |
Kyu Furukawa Garden is famous for its combination of Japanese and Western style gardens. There is a western style garden on the hill side, and a Japanese style garden on the lower side. The western mansion on the hill side is not accessible unless you make a reservation in advance. Kyu Furukawa Garden is in a walkable distance from Rikugien Gargen (15 minute walk). Same as Rikugien, it is also located in a residential area of Tokyo, thus if you visit there on weekdays, you can have a very quiet and private environment. Usually, it takes 30 mins or one hour to enjoy the entire garden. |
